Performance of transmission line at 50Hz and 50/3Hz frequencies is evaluated in terms of voltage, current, efficiency, reactive power loss, voltage regulation, transmission capacity and transferrable length. Transmission line of 100 km length operating at 150 kV is considered in this analysis. Technical parameters are obtained using Newton Raphson method at 50 Hz and 50/3 Hz frequencies.
