Eigenvalue solver based on Finite Integration Technology
HFCS, a 3D ElectroMagnetic (EM) simulator, is developed based on the Finite Integration Technology (FIT) so that Maxwell equations in any arbitrary geometry with known boundary conditions and free sources can be solved. As a first step, the FDTD-type grid is adopted. Thereafter, the Maxwell equations in integral form are discretized into the Maxwell Grid Equations through FIT and the eigenmode equation is obtained.
