Multi-prototype based semantic similarity of concepts in ontology
In this paper, we propose a new measure of semantic similarity based on multi-prototype concepts. Our proposed concept semantic similarity is based on the prototype view in cognitive psychology, and it can measure the semantic similarity between two concepts in a way which is approaching human cognition. It provides a novel way to measure semantic similarity based on prototypes in concepts and provides a new perspective in semantic similarity measure.
