Tunable and reconfigurable microwave filter based on acoustically modulated fiber Bragg grating
We report a novel all-optical microwave filter implemented with several optical taps which are optical taps, which are generated by propagating a longitudinal acoustic wave along a single fiber Bragg grating. Tunability and reconfiguration are experimentally and theoretically demonstrated.
