The current paper presents the results of several radio coverage simulations performed for three different TV broadcasting stations using the ICS Telecom software. Four different propagation models were used, three empirical (NTIA-ITS Longley Rice, ITU-R P.1546 and Okumura-Hata-Davidson) and one deterministic (ITU-R 525/526). The simulation results are compared with practical results from a series of measurements that were performed in the surroundings of Bucharest.
