However, meeting charging demands presents challenges in terms of EV CI planning and charging service operation. In addition, large-scale charging demands could compromise the stable and economic operation of the power grid. In order to mitigate grid impacts and overcome demand-side issues, it is crucial to deploy CI strategically and to operate charging services properly. The objective of this paper is to aid readers by reviewing research in this area.
