In this study, the author uses smart city references to design smart residences that are narrower and more complex in scope, regardless of the fact that there has previously been a lot of research and development about smart cities in large cities in Indonesia whose scope is quite large and wide. Literature and observation studies are the study methods used to gather data and information regarding smart residences.. This study using descriptive method to describes characteristic of the population or phenomenon studied. There are essential features in the design of this smart residence that support activities in housing to be more effective and efficient. Smart lighting, smart garbage management, smart watering plant, and automatic gate are among the architectural proposals designed.
