Simultaneous RSS Measurements Using Multiple Inductively Coupled Coils
In this paper, simultaneous measurement of received signal strength from multiple inductively coupled coils fed by AC voltage is investigated. Two techniques are analyzed, one based on the Frequency Division Multiple Access approach, the other based on Code Division Multiple Access approach. The two methods are compared, first using simulations that assume realistic parameters, then via experimental results. It is shown that, in the considered scenarios, FDMA may a competitive solution when receiving multiple signals, while the CDMA approach may consent better accuracies when a few signals are transmitted.
