Slow light enhancement of nonlinear effects in photonic crystal waveguides
The nonlinear effective coefficients of self-, cross-phase modulation and four-wave mixing are rigorously derived for photonic crystal waveguides. The enhancement of nonlinearities in the regime of slow light is determined.
