The effect of the conductive threads on the leaf-shaped antenna is investigated. The leaf-shaped antenna is stitched around the edge of the antenna and the performances of the leaf-shaped textile dipole with and without conductive thread is evaluated. From the measurement of return loss, the leaf-shaped dipole antenna with the round stitch shows better performances with the optimum resonances compared with the antenna without the conductive thread.
