There are a lot of commercial solutions, which are based on the same principles of communication. In our project an UWB system TREK 1000 was used, which simulated real indoor positioning system with real communication among anchors and tags. It was used of another device for passive positioning, which sniffed all the communication in system. This device calculated position of users in IPS without transmitting any signal. It was used just information received by other tags and anchors in indoor PAN, so this device is invisible for the system.
