The use of AMC is aimed to generate other resonant frequencies so as to get a triple-band frequency response. The AMC is structured by a square ring with two gaps arranged in 2×2 configuration. The proposed antenna has the dimension of 52mm × 52mm and is implemented on 2 layers of FR4 Epoxy dielectric substrate with the relative permittivity of 4.2 and the total thickness of 3.2mm.
