Firstly, the polarization angle is defined to represent different transmission polarization modes; Secondly, the trajectory of target RCS varying with polarization angle of incident electromagnetic wave is pointed out to be a cosine curve by formula derivation. The simulation results show that the trajectory from formula derivation is in perfect agreement with the trajectory from simulation and the formula is proved to be correct.
