The main problem in Jellyfish is a link failure. Link failure causing connectivity between devices to go down. To solve that problem, necessary to design and simulate a backup path for the net- works. The emerging technology in networks is called Software Defined Networks (SDN). Using SDN, the administrator can easily program the network via a controller. SDN can solve the problem by configuring the controller in order to create a backup path on-the-fly. In order to find the optimum backup path when a link failure occurs in Jellyfish topology, floyd-warshall and johnson algorithm used in this paper. Simulations are carried out with parameters convergence time, packet loss, and throughput.
