The phenomenon of surveillance is one of the greatest powers used by the powers of the rulers to establish authority over the people and individuals in the society when necessary. In the developing information age, surveillance phenomenon appears in digital environments with interaction. The phenomenon of surveillance has changed size and brought together a bilateral surveillance and the surveillance society. In Instagram, one of the social media platforms, mutual surveillance is observed intensely. In this study, the concept of surveillance society within the scope of the literature review and the usage and satisfaction discussed in the context of the use of instagram in the context of the use of Instagram in line with the emergence of the new media and social media and the Uses and Satisfaction Approach.
