The graphites include pyrolytic, nuclear, electrode, mechanical, extruded, and isostatically pressed. The quantitative properties examined, some of which were determined along and across the grain, include bulk density, apparent porosity, electrical resistivity, flexural strength, and Knoop microhardness.
