The mathematical model of Traffic Engineering Fault-Tolerant routing has been investigated in this study to support the default gateway redundancy strategies and network load balancing by analogy with the First Hop Redundancy Protocols mechanisms. The model covers various options for load balancing in the core and at the access level of the network. The findings of the research demonstrated the efficiency of the suggested model.
