The chemotherapy with Metronidazole remained inefficacious, whereas the permanent feeding with Methylene blue prevented only the infection with Bothriocephalus acheilognathi and probably lowered insignificantly the breeding-losses on this way. Water-conditioning by means of chloride of lime only lowered the losses caused by gill necrosis, on SBI it had no influence.
