The existence of a coffee shop thatused to describe the miniaturized social interaction of the people of Aceh in a conventional way,now shifts its meaning as a means of reflecting the modernity of contemporary Acehnesesociety. The purpose of this study is to see how the shift in the meaning of the reality of coffeeshops to contemporary Acehnese society. The theoretical and conceptual approaches used toexamine the problems are: the Hiperealitas concept by Jean Baudrillard, and The OnlineDisinhibition Effect Theory by John Suler. This study is qualitative descriptive, using literaturereview method as data collection and analysis technique. 摘要

咖啡店在亚齐的盛行与通讯和信息技术的发展密切相关。咖啡店的存在曾经以一种传统的方式描述亚齐人的微型社会互动,现在它的意义转变为反映当代亚齐社会的现代性。本研究的目的是了解咖啡店的现实意义如何转变为当代亚齐社会。用于研究这些问题的理论和概念方法是:让·鲍德里亚的Hiperealitas概念和约翰·苏勒的在线去抑制效应理论。本研究采用定性描述法,采用文献回顾法作为资料收集和分析技术。研究结果表明:(1)咖啡店中的现实性是当代亚齐社会文化语境中符号超现实性的一部分;(2)亚齐社区在网络空间中的去抑制行为也可以从免费上网设施的咖啡店活动强度中形成;(3)亚齐社区是一个消费社会,从咖啡店获得虚拟模拟的“狂喜”。关键词:超现实,虚拟社区,消费主义,消费社会
