The specialty of this sector is due to the large usage and craze of the Indian women using silk wardrobes. The tradition and culture of most of the south Indians make it a pride in the usage of silk materials on special occasions. The rearing of the silkworm demands a time constrained monitoring task which involves lot of human intervention. The business involves less investment but requires much of human skill to earn the returns. The proposed work tries to automate the silkworm rearing system by implementing an IoT based functional unit with sensors for continuous monitoring of the essential parameters and controlling operation.
