电子垃圾问题是一个世界性的难题。中国作为重要的电气电子设备生产国、消费国和出口国，面临着巨大的电子垃圾回收压力。介绍了电子垃圾的现状，综述了国内电子垃圾回收利用的各种技术和不同规模的设施。根据中国和全球的情况，分析了政府、原始设备制造商和回收商面临的挑战。最后提出了已经实施和将要实施的相应对策，以促进中国电子垃圾回收的环境无害化管理
