It is emphasized that negatively colored emotional concepts are most frequently used, among which the concept of “fear”, which belongs to the genre-forming features of horror, occupies a special place. The means of textual representation of the concepts “fear”, “anxiety”, “panic”, “horror”, “disgust”, “anger”, “rage” are revealed.
