This microgrid consists of solar photovoltaic (SPV), wind turbine generator, biogas and biodiesel engine generator with battery energy storage system included in it. It is known that renewable sources are nature dependent and highly unpredictable, so it is the main challenge to correlate the generation and load demand. To balance this uncertainty the system is studied under various patterns of renewable sources availability and gains of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller is optimized using the HBA algorithm.
