SRv6 related standards and applications include alternative user plane protocol of core network, service function chaining, computing power network and smarter user plane. This paper will make a theoretical analysis of SRv6 and then overview the situation of SRv6 standardization and application. Finally, the development of SRv6 in standardization is prospected.
