It is shown that MSIW can support the Quasi-TEM mode. Leakage from the antenna is obtained by inter-digital capacitor (IDC) embedded on the top of the SIW. This antenna is simulated by HFSS and the results including radiation patterns, reflection coefficient and antenna gain is reported. Leaky wave antenna based on Quasi-TEM mode of substrate integrated waveguide
