Different types of DC-DC converters (Synchronous buck-boost, Cuk, Zeta, Sepic etc.) are analyzed in terms of low voltage implementation. The comparison of energy consumption of different types of converters is given. Different examples of such converter implementation are examined — for example, low voltage DC-DC converters can be used as power converter in photovoltaic system, or, for example, as charging converter for batteries.
