From the portfolio of factors having a critical influence on the interest or reluctance of professional soldiers - officers to perform management functions in the specialisations of military logistics, special attention is paid to the education and training of these specialists. The author of the article presents a fundamental relational determination between the quality of education in military logistics and personal stability in the performance of functions after graduation.
