For the multi-hop transmission based wireless networks, we develop a novel Synchronous Distributed Full-Duplex medium access control (SD-FD MAC) protocol to efficiently increase the throughput for each end-to-end data flow. Our developed SD-FD MAC protocol offers higher opportunities for data transmissions as compared with the traditional half-duplex MAC protocols.
