Energy harvesting technology may be considered as the ultimate solution to replace batteries and provide a long-term power supply for portable devices. The aim of this project is to design and construct a ramp that harvests the kinetic energy from vehicular impacts. The design consists of six stages which include gear mechanism, dc generator, boost converter, transistor circuit, battery level indicator and inverter.
