Mobile application supporting an engage in sport and social activities

Present time is characterized by a variety of fixed and mobile smart technologies which provide users with a lot of new functions and possibilities. Every day new applications come into being and extend the service portfolio. Rapid evolution was noted in a domain of mobile end devices running the Android operating system. Current application base covers a number of areas from games via business to sports. In this paper we present mobile application Ridetastic we have developed. This application does not only provide basic functions to support the sporting (biking) activities but also integrates social networking functions. For example, sharing the user tracks using public social networks can be interesting for users but requires another application to browse them. Our application enables the users to share their tracks and experiences from trips in real time.
