The slotted and pasted transformer winding wire models were designed and fabricated respectively. The electromagnetic wire structure and the winding process had been correspondingly improved. The local temperature rise test was carried out and the temperature distribution was monitored and evaluated. The results show that the distributed optical fibre measurement results of the slotted wire have larger errors, the engineering implementation is more complicated and the original structure of the winding has been changed greatly, whereas the measurement result of the pasted wire is more accurate.
