In the analysis, besides reform process in our country, comparisons are done by data gathered in EU and OECD members are included. Within the frame of comparison with other countries; explanatory results are stated on the stratification in basic education with lowering of school starting age, and the changes in weekly class hours and curriculum of social studies courses. © 2014 IOJES.
