This paper will review studies on cloud-based IoT applications and data analytics that exist in the literature from different perspectives. Moreover, this study adds value by providing comparisons directed towards the different IoT platforms, IoT data analytics techniques, transmission protocols, applications domain, dataset, results, and implementation environments.
