Champy’s miniplates have become highly popular and is a time-tested method of treatment of mandibular fractures. However, advances like 3D miniplate with claimed advantages like requires less armamentarium, providing better occlusal stabilityEvaluative study conducted in 24 patients & randomly divided in 2 groups, use of 3D miniplate vs conventional miniplates in anterior mandibular fractures, age group 15-90, post-operative evaluation at day 1, 7 & 3 month, fracture stability, mobility of fracture fragment, complications & bite force.
