Direction of Traditional Vocal Content Production: Focusing on Pansori Covergence Content

The purpose of this study is to find the direction of production of Pansori convergence content and suggest policies necessary for it. Based on Pansori, it examines the production background, content, and composition production intentions, possibilities, limitation, and significance. of creative musicals , Band , Broadcast JTBC , MBN . First, creative musical representes the lives of characters by setting pansori as the subject and value of the drama. Although pansori was not successful due to the limitations of pansori, it is significant that pansori showed various charms and aspects on stage. Second, alternative pop band ‘The Tiger is Coming’accepted pansori as the main character of a one-time syndrome, and created an art completely different from pansori based on pansori, bass, and drum-centered rock music. Although there were limitations in the unfamiliar pansori language and the absence of a consumer market, it is significant that the new music created through attempts to dismantle and merge genres beyond the genre based on the expertise of the band members showed great potential for pansori’s popularization and globalization. Third, JTBC , MBN which aired in 2021, are broadcasts designed to popularizes Pansori and the two programs intended to promote the colorful style and charms of pansori and discover stars of Pansori. Although it was difficult to catch the public’s eyes with its novelty alone, it set the stage for young pansori-singers, changed the public’s perception that pansori was difficult, and led to the possibility of pansori as well as the the public as a global content. Fourth, Direction of pansori convergence content production derived through the discussion of this paper can be suggested to discover creative, competitive stars, develop video content through convergence with various genres, and develop a pansori brand of One Source Multi Use. Fifth, Policy direction for producing high-quality pansori convergence content should be diversified to support works the state’s policy support to form a new market, and talent development in fields related to pamsori convergence content production can be suggested.
