Real-time Measurement Of Ocular Counterroll By Processing Video Images
Real-time measurement technique is described for analyzing torsional eye movement. The technique processes video images of marks on a contact lens adhered to an eye. This method gives accurate and high-speed measurement , because clear and simple marks eliminate the complex image processing such as extraction of the marks. Accuracy of this measurement is 0.08' of standard deviation. The rotational angle is able to record and display on a computer with a sampling frequency of 30Hz.
