The overhead lines may operate more safely and more reliably when the protector installed on. In the paper, lightning impulse test and V-s character test of lightning impulse were applied to confirm the length of gap in series and optimize proper insulation level as well as technical parameters of the protector. The test research results proved that the discharge controllable over voltage protector is not only effectively prevent overhead line from lightning shielding failure, but also effectively prevent overhead line from melted down and switch off faults caused by any reason. 摘要

本文设计了一种将放电可控避雷针正向防雷技术与ZnO避雷器非线性技术相结合的新型过电压保护器。该保护器被命名为放电可控过电压保护器,主要用于架空绝缘线路的熔断和断路保护。其保护原理是基于气体放电的破膛原理和限流装置的非线性V-A特性。在架空线路上安装保护器可以使线路运行更加安全可靠。本文通过雷电冲击试验和雷电冲击V-s特性试验,确定串联间隙长度,优化保护器的绝缘等级和技术参数。试验研究结果证明,放电可控过电压保护器不仅能有效地防止架空线路发生避雷屏蔽故障,而且能有效地防止架空线路因任何原因造成的熔断和开断故障。其正向防雷、切断工频电流和抑制过电压的能力更有效、更可靠、更安全。
