This research used analysis descriptive method by listing KIM performances textually and contextually and metamorphose theory to explain that there’s the change of the original form into a new form namely the change of form of KIM game with the gambling element into a performing art in wedding ceremony. Research results showed that the change of KIM game occurred because of the influence of people’s view toward the context of gambling and music in KIM performance. 摘要

本研究旨在描述在苏门答腊省索洛克市的婚礼仪式背景下KIM游戏的蜕变。以前，KIM是一个音乐表演变成了赌博的舞台。然而，如今，KIM表演已成为婚礼仪式背景下的娱乐手段。本研究运用分析描述的方法，将KIM的表演逐字逐句地罗列出来，结合变形理论，解释了原来的形式转变为新的形式，即带有赌博元素的KIM游戏在婚礼仪式中的形式转变为一种表演艺术。研究结果表明，KIM游戏的变化是由于人们对KIM表演中赌博和音乐背景的看法的影响而发生的。因此，今天的KIM表演不再是赌博的场所，而是在索洛克人的婚礼上表演的娱乐手段。
