It finds application in a signal sample for measurement or monitoring, antenna beam forming, and separating transmitted and received signals on phone lines. In this research, a CPW directional coupler has been designed based on multilayer MMIC technology. The CPW directional coupler was modelled on GaAS substrates and Polymide as the dielectrics.
