Research is already ongoing in subthreshold region as the technique to achieve less power and energy. Researchers have made lot of efforts in finding the potential applications of memristors in different areas of engineering field right from the existence of the basic titanium oxide based memristor where few of the applications is investigated in this paper. Power reduction is one of the major advantage achieved using non-volatile memories. Another application investigated is usage of memristor in oscillator as well as digital circuits.
