The application of heavy machinery, fertilizers and meliorants and irrigation of plantations located on sloping slopes have worsened the fertility properties of the soil in the foothills, including the structural composition, and weakened the resistance to erosion by increasing the shape of the cultivated and sub-cultivated layers. high density and constant expansion of settlements directly and indirectly affect both ecological conditions and land relations. In the Lankaran-Astara regions, which are under the influence of humid subtropical climate type in our republic, it has developed at an altitude of 500-600 meters, covering the coastal plain and the low mountainous belt. The Mediterranean-type subtropical climate prevailing in the Lankaran-Astara regions is characterized by a high amount of precipitation, its seasonal nature (maximum autumn and early spring, minimum summer months), high active temperature, a relatively long mild winter, etc. is typical. Under the influence of a humid subtropical climate, yellow soils have developed in areas with diverse bioclimatic and geomorphological conditions.
