The DERs and DESUs form an easy, self-controlled nanogrid. Nanogrid can be seen as smaller and technologically simpler islanding microgrids. When more and more renewable sources are interfaced to the nanogrid, a power-management issue is important for this system to supply smooth power to the customers.
