The dynamic model of SEIG is developed in d-q stationary reference frame. Transient analysis of the SEIG-STATCOM system is carried out for voltage build-up, switching in STATCOM and feeding an induction motor as a dynamic load. Star-delta starter is used to reduce inrush current during starting of motors.
