The required number of LED light sources have been evaluated first. Then we use the 3D graphics software and the light tracing simulation software to construct the LED light source model. A collimating lens array, a confocal system, and a diffuser are combined with the LED light source system, can produce a uniform light distribution and small beam-spread angle. After analysis, the center illumination on the projection area of this system can reach 13.2 W/m2, the optical efficiency can reach 72.33%, and the uniformity can reach 1.32. Finally, we also analyzed the tolerance of the system on the installation.
