Electric Vehicle Charging System to Reduce Carbon Emissions Using Photovoltaic Power Generationand ESS
Recently, many policies have been put forward around the world to realize 2050 carbon neutrality. The current energy crisis requires energy savings and carbon emissions reduction in all areas. Currently, buildings are the highest among total greenhouse gas emissions, followed by transportation and transportation. Therefore, we want to reduce carbon emissions in the transport sector for the 2050 greenhouse gas reduction strategy. To reduce carbon emission, it is important to increase the utilization of electric vehicles, which are eco-friendly vehicles, rather than using existing vehicles. In this process, the charging station of the electric vehicle (EV) occupies a large part of the transportation part. In order to more efficiently reduce carbon emission, a photovoltaic (PV) system, which is new and renewable energy, is to be used. This paper researches the EV charging system using a storage device that can charge an electric vehicle at a lower price after storing solar energy, which is renewable energy, in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) device when it is difficult to charge an electric vehicle at a high price. In conclusion, more electric vehicle users are generated through the effect of reducing user charging charges, and through this, the effect of reducing carbon emissions in the transportation and transportation sectors is achieved.
