The means for this comparative evaluation is a model in the 3*4 format, i. e. four relevant indicators in three main areas. The result of the analysis is to capture changes in the position of individual regions in each of the selected indicators, in each area of evaluation and in the overall assessment of the achieved standard of living. It shows that while the variability taken together is decreasing, this is not always the case in the individual indicators assessed. The findings presented can provide an impulse for managing the strengths and weaknesses affecting the standard of living at both the regional and national levels.
