In order to explore the unpredictable actual performance of the equipment in the existing network, we propose an evaluation model based on the existing network, including a system architecture that simulates the deployment architecture of the existing network and a service traffic model based on the actual business status of the existing network. We study two devices using different technologies based on this model. The results show that the traffic forwarding delays of several services are different, and the forwarding delay of UDP traffic is the lowest. And the Smart NIC brings great benefits to the device performance.
