This practice has brought significant and numerous advantages in the technical, economic, and environmental sectors. However, locating REDGs in a random location may result in poor voltage profile and an increase in the active power losses. It is therefore imperative that the location of REDGs be optimized to obtain satisfactory results. In this research work, we propose an analysis-based method for REDGs location using a sensitive index algorithm. The method is carried out in order to improve the voltage profile of the power grid system and minimize the active power losses in the system. The validation of the proposed method is tested using an IEEE-24 bus system node arrangement.
