In various areas of the city, the garbage dumpster is keep in different public places and along the roads where there are overflowing because of increasing wasting system and lack of monitoring. It creates an unhealthy environment and unpleasant conditions for the public also have bad aroma outside the environment. Therefore, many diseases spread around the environment that have dangerous for our health. So, it needs to investigate to solve the problem of overflow garbage dumpsters. In this paper, there are multiple dumpsters located across the city or the selected area. These dumpsters are deployed with a low cost embedded device like IoT based which helps in determining the status of the garbage, coverage area, and a GPS module is provided a location for every dumpster in the city. So that it is easy to determine which dumpster is full and where it is located. When the garbage level reaches the threshold limits, the IoT based device will transmit the level along with the GPS coordinates through SMS alert messages.
