This system suffers from frequent and irregular connection/disconnection of peers which can cause the unavailability of files in the network and this problem impacts the files search performances. Thus, it is important to address the files availability issue. In this paper, we propose CRS, a clustering-based replication strategy to improve file availability which enhances the search efficiency. Our proposal is based on global file availability and popularity estimations to choose the suitable file to replicate and the suitable replica degree.
